During this course, experienced ABF Accredited Umpire Instructors will introduce you to the responsibilities, rules and skills of tee-ball/baseball umpiring. Where facilities and weather permit, some "On Field" drills and instruction will assist participants with understanding rules and umpiring techniques.There is no assessment of rules or umpiring skills at this course.
This course is the minimum level of training our umpires required to officiate at tee-ball or baseball games. Attendees will be provided with an ABF Umpire Development Program "Orientation to Umpiring" certificate, registered as having completed the course and receive a copy of the official Australian Baseball Rules.
All parents interested in the sport, team umpires and players 12 years and older are encouraged to attend this course.

No special equipment required.Participants will be involved in some light physical activity. Please wear comfortable clothing which will allow for some running, bending etc.
All attendees must register individually. You are not considered as registered unless payment is made.

If you are a Manly Umpire and your Association is paying your registration fee, you will need to obtain a password from Simon Lowde to use the 'Association Registration' method.
