Baseball Community Umpiring @ Barden Ridge Oval 

Attire: 

Clothing appropriate for mild athletic activity (baseball uniform, umpire uniform, etc.)  - Warm clothing for night sessions 

What to bring:

• Sunscreen if daytime
• Water Bottle
• Baseball Glove (If available)
• Small Notebook & Pen
• Certificate of Completion
• Enthusiasm!

Requirements:

1) Valid Volunteer Working with Children Check ( for those over 18 years old)

2) Prior to attending, please enroll and complete the Community Officiating Essential Skills Course and bring the certificate of completion with you to the course.

3) Minimum age is 12 years old. 

4) After the on-field course you will need to pass a short online test to receive your certification. 

In order to obtain a successful accreditation, you need to

1. enroll and complete the Community Officiating Essential Skills Course and bring the certificate of completion with you to the course.
2. obtain a valid volunteer working with children check (18 years and over)
3. successfully complete the association accreditation test
