    Baseball Community Umpiring @ Thornleigh - Oakleigh Park Diamond 1

    Attire: 

    Clothing appropriate for mild athletic activity (baseball uniform, umpire uniform, etc.)  - Warm clothing for night sessions 

    What to bring:

    • Sunscreen if daytime
    • Water Bottle
    • Baseball Glove (If available)
    • Small Notebook & Pen
    • Certificate of Completion
    • Enthusiasm!

    Requirements:

    Valid Volunteer Working with Children Check ( for those over 18 years old)

    Prior to attending, please enroll and complete the Community Officiating General Principles Course and bring the certificate of completion with you to the course.

    Minimum age is 12 years old. 

    After the on-field course you will need to pass a short online test to receive your certification.

    2024 BASEBALL NSW UMPIRE SCHOOL



    NSWBUA announces the 2024 Umpire School is to be held on 7-8 September at Blacktown International Sports Park (BISP) Baseball Complex.

    As the premier seminar on the calendar for this year, we encourage umpires of all levels to attend.  Join us to gain your accreditation, or enhance and improve your skills of umpiring from some of the best instructors in the country, 

    Whether your interest lies in local junior or senior baseball, State League, Women's League or National Champions,  join us to gain your accreditation, or enhance and improve your skills of umpiring from some of the best instructors in the country, 

    When: Saturday 7th September and Sunday 8th September. 

    Venue: Blacktown International Sports Park (BISP) Baseball Complex

    Time: 8:30am for 9am start

    Finish: 4:30pm

    Full NSWBUA members $130

    Non-Members $150

    NSWBUA Annual Seminar - Junior Baseball @ Blacktown International Sports Park hosted by Baseball NSW Umpire Association

    The Junior Baseball School will focus on small diamond baseball, including Little League rules and mechanics and will help develop current and aspiring umpires who wish to focus on junior baseball up to LL Senior League.  Open to all Age Groups 12 and over.

    For those who want to umpire Sydney Cup, Tournament Baseball and or State Titles, this is the course you need to attend.  

    Attire: 

    Clothing appropriate for mild athletic activity (baseball uniform, umpire uniform, etc.)  - Warm clothing as it still gets cool at Greenway.  

    What to bring:

    • Sunscreen if daytime
    • Water Bottle
    • Baseball Glove (If available)
    • Small Notebook & Pen
    • Certificate of Completion
    • Enthusiasm!

    Requirements:

    1) Prior to attending, please enroll and complete the Community Officiating General Principles Course and bring the certificate of completion with you to the course.
